Beginning the Journey with Sharda Shishu Niketan (29th July 2012)

Helping Hands took its first step towards making a difference by organizing an event at Sharda Shishu Niketan, a small trust supporting 36 young girls. This event marked the beginning of our journey, driven by a mission to help and a vision to empower.

Highlights of the Event

  • Warm Welcome:

    • The girls welcomed the Helping Hands team with warmth and respect, making the experience truly special.

  • Motivational Speech:

    • Mr. Ishan Hatekar delivered an inspiring talk to boost the confidence and morale of the children.

  • Candle Show:

    • A mesmerizing candle show captivated the kids, adding a magical touch to the event.

Entertainment & Activities:

  • Games & Quiz:

    • Interactive games and quizzes were conducted to engage the children and create a fun learning environment.

  • Dance Performances:

    • The girls performed a beautiful dance, showcasing their talent.

    • A Helping Hands member, trained in Kathak, danced with the kids, making the event even more enjoyable.

       

Gifts & Donations:

  • Food Donation:

    • As a token of love, Helping Hands provided essential food items, including onions and potatoes, to support the children's daily needs.
