Every Story Begins with a Dream – Help Us Make It a Reality
Every story has a flashback and ours is no different. We have a flashing memory, which remain evergreen in our hearts. It is the first time when one of our friends decided to stop spending money lavishly on birthday celebrations. It was an instant click perhaps, where the realization hit as to why simply drool money lavishly wherein you can make a life of few children out there.So it was not a giant idea at all. Just to spend the birthday in an orphanage, make somebody smile and hopefully, give stuffs for them which are useful.What actually was just a day’s thought which could have easily faded out amongst everybody’s busy life took a positive turn to prosper. All thanks to the friends who made it happen. An idea indeed can change lives if strategized or empowered well.That’s how friends of four embarked the journey of The Giving Tree Foundation.
Why we chose Education?
Initially visiting Sharda Shishu Niketan & spending good time along with kids was the only plan in our minds. But after our 1st event, we all knew we had done something that satisfied our Heart & Soul. And as part of addition many who did not join us at first event were asking for our next move & they too also wanted to be part of the second one.
So we decided to brainstorm & decide further activity .As our country’s nearly 70% population stays in rural areas, we decided to focus on villages nearby. We wanted to do something that would leave a lasting impact.
Hence helping with food or clothes was not option. So we decided to work in the field of education in rural regions nearby.
We knew For poor people, education is not just about acquiring knowledge—it’s a life-changing tool that will opens the door to opportunities, empower individuals, and fosters social and economic mobility.
It's a key to improving personal and community well-being, breaking the cycle of poverty, and ultimately contributing to the development of a more just and equitable society.
As Education has a generational effect we decided to continue to work in field of education.

Our members are the backbone of our organization . we are diverse group of passionate and driven individual's with common goals of helping others.
We are a mix of creative thinkers, problem solvers, and go-getters.
